POSITION DESCRIPTION TITLE: FLSA STATUS: Registration Clerk II Non-Exempt CATEGORY: GRADE: Classified Staff C JOB SUMMARY: Assist in coordinating, planning and implementing the academic and noncredit registration functions. Provide accurate and proper documentation to comply with State guidelines. YEARLY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: PERCENT OF TIME 1. Provide a variety of services to students, staff/faculty and outside 30% agencies. Serves as a campus liaison. 2. Implement a variety of academic and non-credit registration functions. Process the enrollment for academic suspension and for returning probation students. 20% 3. Assist the Student Services Manager with the Registrar, Admissions and Continuing Education daily campus functions to provide services to students, campus employees and to the community. 20% 4. Interpret procedures, policies, rules and regulations. 15% 5. Assist with other duties, to include guidance to staff members, maintaining office equipment and the authorization of posted materials. 10% 6. Other duties as assigned. 5% REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports to the Assistant Registrar. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: One year of college or 30 semester credit hours. EXPERIENCE: Three years. Skills/Abilities: Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgement, ability to work within stressful environments, good oral and written communication, and the ability to manage multiple complex activities and projects.
