POSITION DESCRIPTION TITLE: FLSA STATUS: Curriculum Monitoring Assistant Non-Exempt CATEGORY: GRADE: Classified D JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting in evaluating and initiating curriculum reports and data for the office of Curriculum and Instructional Development. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Participate in proofreading the EPCC course catalog and class schedule to ensure academic information published is accurate and reflects materials submitted and approved by the THECB. 2. From the historical database of curriculum changes, manipulate multiple databases for the formation of reports. Submit revisions and/or corrections to the Registrar’s office using appropriate documentation. 3. Assist in reviewing state reports for accuracy to include: Texas Common Course Numbering Guide (TCCN), Technical program Inventory, and Academic Course Inventory. Other duties as assigned. 5% REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Manager, Curriculum and Instructional Development ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Associate’s degree EXPERIENCE: One (1) year experience. SPECIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 1. Skills/Abilities: Must possess an understanding of general office practices, to include computer literacy and organizational skills; basic knowledge of proofreading marks; detail oriented; and strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. 2.
