JOB SUMMARY: Develop, conduct and coordinate various professional development programs for the
administrative, professional and classified staff of the district.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Develop, conduct, and coordinate soft skills educational training programs
and workshops for administrative, classified and professional staff.
2.
Management, leadership, direction, and implementation of the annual staff
retreat.

3.
Liaison to department heads to provide customized educational training and
workshops for EPCC employees.

4.
Research, study, and development of soft skills educational programs.
5%
5.
Research, study, and review of educational books, videos, and music to
maintain and enhance the HRD educational resource library.
5%
6.
Coordination and administration of the professional development leave
program.
5%
7.
Other duties as assigned.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Vice President, Administration & Financial Operations
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct supervision of staff assigned.
BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES: Departmental budgets
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Master’s Degree
EXPERIENCE: Seven (7) years related experience.

SPECIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1.
Skills/Abilities: Effective written and verbal communications skills and demonstrated ability
to work with teams of people to complete tasks. Must be innovative.
2.
Equipment Used: Personal Computer and other equipment associated with a general office
environment (copier, phone, fax, etc.)
3.
Software Used: A variety of word-processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail, and
presentation software.
