ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: YEARLY PERCENT OF TIME 55% 1. Identify, develop, write and edit written material prepared for public dissemination, publication or broadcast. 2. Develop, write and edit English and Spanish press releases and public service announcements. 15% 3. Coordinate community relations activities with college staff; assist with media relations and special events; provide input on promotional activities. 10% 4. Assist in various developmental aspects of the Division Newsletter, including editing, writing, photo taking; update and maintain mailing list. 10% 5. Participate in community relations activities; coordinate public speaking engagement. 5% 6. Ability to work and have knowledge of desktop publishing and graphic design software. Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the College.
