Vitalii Sediuk was still in jail at last report and everyone is getting tired of his shtick as he’s been fired by the TV station he worked for and his publicist has dumped him. TMZ is saying the LA city attorney will try and get him banned from all high-profile entertainment events in the area in addition to any charges he may be facing. GWYNETH PALTROW cheesed off a lot of people by comparing Internet insults thrown her way to war. Gwyneth complained that she's been dehumanized by widespread Internet trash-talking saying, "You come across [comments] about yourself and about your friends, and it’s a very dehumanizing thing. It’s almost like how, in war, you go through this bloody, dehumanizing thing, and then something is defined out of it." Aside from being called out by a number of veterans groups, Senator John McCain’s wife, Cindy, said “Perhaps Gwyneth Paltrow should go out on patrol with some soldiers." JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE touched off an international incident after posting a photo of himself on Instagram in front of the Western Wall in Jerusalem's Old City with the caption, "The Holy Land...What an experience…I will never forget this day." However, the trouble started for Justin when he used the hashtag Israel. Outraged responses included, "You are in Palestine not Israel" and "There was never an Israel, there was always Palestine." Justin hasn’t addressed the controversy. This may be pulp fiction, but Us Weekly says QUENTIN TARANTINO and UMA THURMAN have taken their relationship to the next level after making a number of movies together. Stonestreet called out Simmons for bullying his mom out of her seat and then mocking her by saying he owned the airplane they were on and asking for her autograph and calling her "Aunt Bee." Stanley tweeted it was just a misunderstanding while Simmons fired back claiming the whole thing was made up, and he "would never be mean, especially to mothers." Stonestreet accepted their explanations and said, “I will tape my glow in the dark KISS posters back together now." Stonestreet later tweeted a separate response to Simmons, telling him: “I assure u, I will have a stern talk with my mom about making up stories.” SELENA GOMEZ’S grandfather has revealed she’s being treated for lupus. Gomez has just returned from Nepal where she visited as a UNICEF ambassador to bring attention to children in need. Her grandfather told Radar Online that she was diagnosed several years ago, but is getting along pretty good. However, he said that various issues, including her bumpy relationship with Justin Bieber, her stint in rehab and her grueling work schedule, have exacerbated her condition. LEVAR BURTON launched a Kickstarter campaign to bring the app version of his old PBS children’s series Reading Rainbow into schools everywhere. MARILYN MANSON has landed a recurring role on SONS OF ANARCHY. Manson will play a white supremacist named Ron Tully in the show's upcoming seventh season, which is set to begin in September. Julia Collins extended her JEOPARDY winning streak to 19 games last night. That puts her in a second-place tie with David Madden for most consecutive nontournament wins. KISS may finally be official members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but GENE SIMMONS still doesn’t hold the institution in very high regard. Simmons and says that he doesn’t feel rappers such as LL Cool J or disco artists belong in the Hall. He also feels that Nirvana is overrated and not nearly as influential as the Foo Fighters. (See here) JOHN MELLENCAMP has signed a lifetime contract with Republic Records. The first album under the deal will be called "Plain Spoken" and it’s due out this fall. If you’re wondering what prompted STEVE PERRY to join the Eels for his first live performance in 19 years, Eels frontman E says Perry began attending their concerts about a decade ago and asked to meet, but E blew him off because he wasn’t a Journey fan. After a friend encouraged the meeting, E discovered Steve is cool and invited him to their weekly Sunday croquet matches. Eventually Perry started showing up unannounced to their rehearsals where they tried to goad him into singing a Journey song, but he wouldn’t bite. In what may not have been the best choice of venues for the party, Mayor Ford, along with his two children and two other women, chose to celebrate at Crabby Joe's Tap & Grill. An employee said that Ford was "in good spirits" and drank only diet soda during dinner. It’s now reported that nearly 30 percent of the world’s population is either obese or overweight. Researchers also compiled a list of the top 10 countries with the most obese people and it will surprise few people that the nation topping the list is the good old U.S. of A. They say that in the last three decades, not one country has achieved success in reducing obesity rates. The rest of the top 10 tubby countries are: 2. China; 3. India; 4. Russia; 5. Brazil; 6. Mexico; 7. Egypt; 8. Germany; 9. Pakistan; 10. Indonesia. Fans of Sriracha can breathe a sigh of relief…unless they live near the factory that makes the stuff. Officials in Irwindale, California have voted to drop a public nuisance declaration and lawsuit against the makers of the hot sauce. Some people downwind of the plant had complained that the fumes from the Sriracha factory had made it difficult to breathe. No word on what prompted the city council to change its position, but it would seem to have to do with money and jobs. Heber City, Utah’s Wasatch High School apparently felt that some of their graduating seniors were too sexy for their yearbook. The school took it upon themselves to edit the photos of girls they considered to be showing too much skin, adding higher necklines or sleeves. Some female students were upset, including sophomore Shelby Baum, who said she felt like the school was "trying to shame you of your body." In her original yearbook photo, Baum wore a V-neck T-shirt revealing a tattoo on her collarbone that reads, "I am enough the way I am." The altered photo shows a higher, square neckline that covers the tattoo. Many visitors now believe the legend of the park having a curse on anyone that takes home a sample. The park manager says every year he has as many as a dozen pieces of petrified wood returned to him, accompanied by an apology in the hope that good fortunes will return to the light-fingered curse victims. One man wrote that he thought the story about the curse was baloney until he had three accidents involving broken bones, plus a motor home fire and a dead car engine. Another wrote of three years of bad luck adding, "I hope with this act of restitution (the) Lord will have mercy upon me. I apologize and beg your pardon." The curse seems to be even more prevalent at the Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona, which receives as many as six letters a month containing returned stolen wood. Have you ever wondered who the highest paid public employee in your state is? No, it’s not the governor or any elected official. Chances are it’s either the football or basketball coach at the largest state school. According to media reports and state salary databases, the highest-paid public employees in 27 states are football coaches, while another 13 top earners coach basketball. The other 10 highest-paid public employees are mostly heads of colleges. Finnish researchers say that cynical people are three times more likely to suffer from dementia late in life. Researchers asked senior citizens a series of questions to gauge their level of cynicism and then checked back eight years later. They found that those who had the highest level of cynicism were more likely to have dementia. They say that by knowing this, it would be beneficial to give people an attitude adjustment in order to improve the quality of life in their later years. It was also revealed that Donald Sterling was recently found by experts to be mentally incapacitated, giving his wife, Shelly Sterling, the authority to carry out the sale. Donald Sterling has topped a new poll. Unfortunately for Sterling, he topped the poll of the most hated men in America. Pollsters say that out of the people who were familiar with Sterling, 92 percent said they disliked him. Sterling beat out other swell guys such as O.J. Simpson, Justin Bieber and Jon Gosselin. The New York Rangers beat the Montreal Canadiens 1-0 last night to advance to the Stanley Cup finals. They’ll take on Chicago or Los Angeles in their first finals appearance since winning the Cup in 1994. After half of the U.S. Senate sent a letter to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell urging the Washington Redskins to change its name, the team sent a message via social media urging fans to contact Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and show their Redskins Pride and tell him what the team means to them. It turned into a major fail as Twitter users spanked team officials, calling them out of touch. Rory McIlroy had two eagles and three birdies on the back nine at Muirfield Village on his way to a 9-under 63 and a three-shot lead after the opening round of the Memorial. He was further stunned two days later when a C-T scan discovered a large tumor in his lungs, and more in his liver and bones. Doctors immediately hospitalized Jeffrey and removed a half-liter of fluid from his lungs and administered emergency chemotherapy. However, Jeffrey soon suffered another setback. After paying Anthem Blue Cross an estimated $100-thousand in premiums since 2008; they told him that his hospital stay didn’t meet their criteria for medical necessity. New York’s Annette Diiorio is asking thieves to return an oil painting of her grandfather, which she considers priceless. However, Annette didn’t explain why she left this priceless painting inside her parked car, which she failed to check on for an entire week. Annette eventually returned to the car, somehow shocked to discover that someone would break into it while parked on a New York street. Two teenage boys were spotted Saturday evening by a deputy in Arizona City, Arizona. Knowing detectives wanted them for questioning in connection with several residential burglaries, the deputy detained the kids. As authorities were set to question them, Sanqusia Johnson, the mother of one of the boys, joined the gathering. Apparently unhappy that deputies were conversing with her snowflake, Sanqusia allegedly became belligerent and confrontational with the officers and struck a sergeant in the face. Mom and the boys then got to carpool to jail. Malick and Malcolm Mitchell walked into a Fort Lee, New Jersey McDonald's and demanded free food. When employees refused the request, the men threw a chair over the counter, damaged the cash register, windows and a large Ronald McDonald figure. When police arrived, the two men tried to run away before Malick allegedly pushed and kicked one of the officers. Not surprisingly, police say both men were intoxicated and incarcerated. Bitman By David Evjen Bitman1@aol.com Friday, May 30th, 2014 MO’ DUH… Tennessee’s 25-year-old Adam Winters recently appeared on Bravo’s Millionaire Matchmaker and described himself as a CEO who lived in Beverly Hills and had a net worth in excess of $1 million. Adam might’ve had that much money had he been successful in his scheme to extort millions of dollars by threatening to go public with evidence of negligent practices at a federal nuclear materials facility. Unfortunately for Adam, his plot was foiled, he’s now facing federal charges and his sworn financial affidavit states he doesn’t have the funds to retain an attorney. Shenzen City, China’s 29-year-old Chen Teng used the computer in his BMW to taunt police with a photo showing him holding a beer with the caption: "Is it unlawful to drive while drinking?" Another photo was captioned: "Do you really think ten beers are too much to drive with?" Teng not only posted the images to China's equivalent of Facebook, he sent them to police. By now, you know the rest of the story is that police caught Teng, who now claims the beer bottle in the photo was empty and he was only having fun. It’s assumed police also had fun when they charged Teng with numerous traffic violations, causing him to lose his job. Officials at Florida’s Winter Park High School are considering reissuing a digital version of their new yearbook. The reason they’re considering this is because the regular yearbook contained spelling errors or typos on nearly every page. Apparently the publication didn't go through a copy-editing process before it was sent to the publisher. No word on if the students working on the yearbook went through any education process before being sent off to college. Suffolk, Virginia’s Sonya Fletcher apparently ran her own home-based business. Police say that business was an illegal strip club. Unfortunately, Sonya’s operation was laid bare when a customer complained to police about her high prices. No, Sonya wasn’t overcharging for lap dances. The customer told police she was charging $2 for drinks, which he said were "expensive compared to other places."
