THE BITS…
The Screen Actors Guild Awards were handed out last night. It was a pretty big
night because there hadn’t been any Hollywood awards shows in nearly a week.
The Screen Actors Guild awards were handed out last night. You can tell the
Screen Actors Guild awards aren’t that prestigious because the losers say it’s not
really an honor just to be nominated.

SON OF THE BITS…
The annual Adult Video Awards were handed out last night in Las Vegas. It’s a big
event because the Adult Video Awards often are a correct predictor of who won’t
win an Oscar.
The annual Adult Video Awards, known as the Oscars of porn, were held last night
in Las Vegas. The night’s biggest award was for Best Ensemble in a Hot Tub.

TINSELTOWN TATTLER…
Dr. McDreamy is back on the market as PATRICK DEMPSEY’S wife Jillian Fink
has filed for divorce to end their 15 year-marriage. She cited irreconcilable
difference and is asking for joint custody of their three kids, as well as spousal and
child support. The bad news for Dempsey is that there is no pre-nup and he’s now
worth about $40 million. Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ, "It remains
to be seen whether it will be amicable" and that she's had a problem with his ego
for a while now, which she thinks is out of control.
STEPHEN COLLINS and Faye Grant have finalized their nasty divorce. The
settlement splits his net worth of $14 million pretty much 50/50. However, the big
deal is that it calls for all the copies of the audio recording in which he confesses to
child molestation to be destroyed, with the exception of the original, which will be
turned over to Collins' lawyer. The recording will be kept under lock and key for
10 years and only released if there's a subpoena. The settlement will allow them to
avoid what would’ve been an ugly, public trial.
RYAN ADAMS and MANDY MOORE have filed for divorce. The couple
released a statement on Friday saying, "Ryan Adams and Mandy Moore have
mutually decided to end their marriage of almost 6 years. It is a respectful,
amicable parting of ways. Both Ryan and Mandy ask that the media respect their
privacy at this time."
SEAN PENN has filed papers to legally adopt his fiancée CHARLIZE THERON’S
3-year-old son Jackson. A source tells Us Weekly, “Sean always knew that to truly
earn a place in Charlize’s heart, connecting with Jackson was one of the most
important parts.” They’ve been dating for over a year and got engaged while on a
trip to Paris this past November.

TINSELTOWN TATTLER 2…
Rumors about SELENA GOMEZ having something going on with producer Zedd
continue to swirl. They were spotted out together on Friday night having dinner in
Atlanta. They were out with friends including Zac Efron, but a witness said,
"Selena and Zedd were definitely cozy and cuddling in the booth." On Saturday
afternoon, Selena posted a photo of Zedd wrapping his arms around her with the
caption, "Hint #2 #iwantyoutoknow."
MILEY CYRUS and Patrick Schwarzenegger are still hot and heavy, but she
admitted that she has no clue how to spell his last name! Miley told Good
Morning America, "I can't tell you, apparently there's not a 'T' in it."
COURTNEY LOVE reunited with her daughter Frances Bean Cobain on Saturday
at the Sundance premiere of the documentary "Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck." It
was the first time they've been seen together in more than five years and the two
hugged it out. Courtney lost legal control over then 17-year-old Frances in 2009
and in 2012 Love accused Dave Grohl of hitting on her daughter. Frances blasted
her mom over the accusation and urged Twitter to ban her. Incidentally, the Cobain
documentary got rave reviews from the Sundance crowd.
LINDSAY LOHAN posted a photo on Instagram over the weekend showing her
wearing just a thong and white crop top and her super-thin waist with the hashtag
‘mycalvins are helping me fight off my chikungunya hehe’ However, many are
saying it was Photoshopped as evidenced by a slanted bottle to the right of her
torso in the picture. (See here) Meanwhile, Lindsay could be in more serious
trouble this week as she’s due in court on Wednesday, but has yet to complete her
community service. Lindsay was supposed to have completed the work by last
November, but the judge gave her an extension until this week. The community
service was ordered after her 2012 reckless driving case where she slammed into a
truck on the Pacific Coast Highway and then tried to say her assistant was driving.
In a worst case, but unlikely, scenario Lindsay could see jail time.

TINSELTOWN TATTLER 3…
In what’s bound to rile up the right wing crowd, BILL MAHER criticized the film
American Sniper on his HBO show Friday night, while praising the 2008 war film
The Hurt Locker. Maher said, "Hurt Locker made $17 million because it was a
little ambiguous, and thoughtful…And this one was just, 'American hero! He’s a
psychopath patriot, and we love him.'" Maher read lines from the real life sniper’s
book that praises war and added, "Eisenhower once said, 'I hate war as only a
soldier who has lived it can.'" Maher continued. "I just don't see this guy in the
same league as Eisenhower, I'm sorry." (See here-preview)
Police paid a visit to RICHARD SIMMONS on Friday night. Simmons hasn’t been
seen in public for a year, not even at his fitness studio, and cut off contact with his
friends, which had them worried. Officers did a welfare check and said Simmons
couldn't have been nicer and more gracious and that he was articulate, lucid,
relaxed and appreciative of their concern. They also said that Simmons now has a
beard and told them he was "exhausted" after spending 30 years in the public eye.
KANYE WEST has explained why you never seem to see him smiling in photos.
Kanye said, "Back when I was working on Yeezus, I saw this book from the 1800s
and it was velvet-covered with brass and everything. I looked at all these people's
photos and they look so real and their outfits were incredible and they weren't
smiling and people, you know the paparazzi, always come up to me, 'Why you not
smiling?' and I think, not smiling makes me smile. When you see paintings in an
old castle, people are not smiling cause it just wouldn't look as cool."

A red 1965 Mosrite Ventures V1 guitar owned by JOHNNY RAMONE was sold
at auction last Thursday for nearly $72,000. The guitar was signed on the body in

until 1990 when he apparently sold it to friend and former Ramones band driver
Gene Frawley.
NOEL GALLAGHER says there is one thing that could maybe get OASIS to
reunite – money…and lots of it! Noel told Q magazine, "Nobody has made us an

Oasis great? You should re-form…Would I do it for charity? No way. We're not
that kind of people…But would we get back together one day? As long as
everybody is still alive and still has their hair, it's always a possibility. But only for
the money."

If the weekend storm wasn’t bad enough for the Northeast, another one bringing
blizzard-like conditions and a foot or more of snow is due today. The storm system
began from the Midwest and moved into Philadelphia and heads up to
Massachusetts and Maine and is expected to intensify into Tuesday. Power outages
are expected and the airlines have canceled over 2,000 flights into and out of the
area today.
Your next vacation may have just gotten cheaper! No, airlines aren’t lowering their
fares despite lower fuel costs, but Sky Mall has filed for bankruptcy. Those are the

blaming the failure on in-flight Wi-Fi and other entertainment that keeps
passengers occupied with other things than buying things from their catalogs.
However, their online website will apparently remain in business.

is perfect for a sweet bite after a romantic dinner. Ho shou wu is an herb tonic used
for centuries to enhance youthfulness, reproductive function, and sex drive and
Moon Juice’s Sex Dust is an aphrodisiac warming potion promoting enjoyable sex
and fertility for both men and women.” If you’re wondering, Sex Dust is sold by a
company called Moon Juice for $60 for a 4 oz. jar and the other ingredients are
Moon Pantry Cacao at $15 for a 6.3 oz jar, Moon Pantry Ho Shou Wu at $18 for a
3.2 oz jar and Moon Pantry Cacao Nibs for $15 for a 16 oz jar. That means it’ll
cost you $108 to whip up some sex bark.

The Ohio Attorney General's Office has accused Roberta Payne of illegally selling
more than 2,000 morphine pills and 30 milligrams of liquid morphine. Roberta
might not be behind bars on several drug-related charges had she not allegedly sold
those drugs to an undercover agent. This is going to look especially bad on
Roberta’s resume as she was perhaps trying to drum up new business for her job as
a drug addiction counselor.
Arles Cepeda got tired of having to walk by drug dealers in her Bronx apartment
building at all hours. In a span of 15 months, Arles called the 311 police hotline to
report drug deals 44 times and phoned 911 twice. Police finally did something
about it. The drug dealers remain free, but police did arrest Arles for misusing the
police department’s phone system. However, Arles may have the last laugh as
she’s hired a lawyer and has filed a federal lawsuit.
Gainesville, Florida’s Angela R. Woodworth took her 11-year-old son and three of
his friends bowling and to Ruby Tuesday. After leaving Ruby Tuesday, the kids
jumped out of the car screaming when it came to a stop and ran into a Steak ‘N’
Shake. No, they weren’t still hungry. The kids bailed because Angela was
swerving all over the road and hit a pole and broke a mirror off her car. The kids
told police that Angela drank two pitchers of beer at the bowling alley and had four
drinks at Ruby Tuesday. Angela was charged with four felony counts of child
neglect, marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest
In Leeds, England, 24-year-old Andy Mulligan was attacked outside the

was later learned that the attacker mistook Andy for another person at the bar that
he had a scuffle with, who was wearing a Power Ranger costume.

In Austria, a young father was riding aboard a metro train with his baby. When he
arrived at his stop, dad got off the train, only to realize that he’d left the baby on
board in its carriage. By the time dad realized his mistake, the train had already
started to leave the station. The father frantically called the railway saying, "Help, I
forgot my baby in the subway." The trains were halted and father and child were
soon reunited, with the baby having slept through the entire ordeal. Officials
advised the father not to tell his wife.
An unnamed German man was sued by his former landlord for $2,200 after he
allegedly damaged the marble floors in the home he was renting. The court heard
that the tenant often missed the target when relieving himself in the bathroom.
While accepting expert testimony that urine had damaged the floors, Judge Stefan
Hank rejected the landlord’s case seeing as how the tenant’s method of relieving
himself was within cultural norms saying, "despite the increasing domestication of
men in this context, urinating standing up is still common practice."
An Air Canada flight attendant testified in the case of Jason George Chase and
Alicia Elizabeth Lander, who are facing charges of indecent acts after allegedly
trying to join the mile high club on a flight. John Dunn testified that he found the
amorous couple with a coat draped across their laps and Alicia’s pink G-string
visible between her exposed thighs while Jason’s hand was making an up and
down gesture which, technically, doesn’t count as joining the mile high club.
Mr. Dunn said he ordered Alicia to get dressed and put her breasts back inside her
bra, before separating the couple for the rest of the flight. Upon landing, Alicia
became violent with arresting officers, hitting one cop and knocking down a
sliding door and punching holes into walls. Not surprisingly, it was also noted she
reeked of alcohol. As for Jason, he’s changed his plea to guilty, proving that a guy
will brag about these sorts of things at all costs.
