THE BITS…
President Obama gave his immigration speech last night. Republicans are furious
with some calling for impeachment and others threatening to sue him. It’s a shame
because up until now President Obama and the Republicans got along so well.

embarrassing to just abysmal.

Because of all the snow they’ve had in Buffalo, roofs are beginning to collapse.
They’re some of the worst collapses seen in Buffalo not involving the Bills.
Cold and snow hit the Buffalo area again yesterday. In fact, they say it was almost
as frosty as conditions in Washington between President Obama and Republicans.

TINSELTOWN TATTLER…
The accusers are continuing to pile on BILL COSBY. Carla Ferrigno, wife of
bodybuilder/actor Lou Ferrigno, says she met Cosby at his home in 1967 and
eventually found herself playing pool with him alone after his wife, Camille, had
gone to bed. While her date was in the bathroom, she claims Cosby forcefully
grabbed her, pulled her to him and kissed her hard on the mouth. Carla says she
eventually pushed him away, found her date and made him take her home. As for
why she’s coming forward now, Carla said, "I want to be one of those women. One
more nail in the coffin."
Actress Louisa Moritz, who played Rose in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," is
also accusing BILL COSBY, claiming he knocked on her dressing room door
before an appearance on Johnny Carson's show in 1971. She says he walked in,
insinuated he’d help her career and then unzipped and put ‘it’ in her mouth. Even
though the statute of limitations has run out, Louisa says she intends to file a civil
lawsuit against Cosby. However, Cosby's lawyer says, "We've reached a point of
absurdity. The stories are getting more ridiculous," adding that Louisa is a lawyer
who was disciplined by the California State Bar and ordered not to practice.
Yet another new BILL COSBY accuser is Therese Serignese, who’s now a
registered nurse from Boca Raton, Florida. She claims to have met Cosby in 1976,
when she was 19 and he was headlining at the Las Vegas Hilton. She says she was
standing in the gift shop when Cosby approached her from behind, put his arm
around her neck and said, 'Will you marry me?'" She goes on to say that after the
show she was escorted back to the green room where Cosby held out two white
pills and a glass of water and told her to take them. For some reason she did, and
she says the next thing she remembers is being in a bathroom bent forward with
Cosby assaulting her from behind. Therese says she had intermittent contact with
Cosby over the next 20 years, including at least one sexual encounter around 1985.
She also accepted two payments from him in 1996 after she was in a car accident.

Swimmer MICHAEL PHELPS met his girlfriend, Taylor Lianne Chandler, on
Tinder, but she’s now made a major revelation on Facebook. Chandler has
revealed she was born a boy named David Roy Fitch. Chandler was actually born
intersex, meaning she had parts of both sexes. She began taking testosterone
blockers as a teenager and had corrective surgery in her early twenties to get rid of
her male genitalia. She’d previously detailed their first date to a Baltimore Ravens
game to the National Enquirer saying, “One thing led to the next, and we made
love during halftime.” However, Chandler says she’s now concerned that after this
admission Phelps may no longer want to be with her when he leaves rehab, but
apparently not concerned enough to prevent blabbing to the tabloids.

Candlestick Park in San Francisco last August was filmed using 360-degree,
stereoscopic 3-D cameras and 3-D sound-field microphones. The new virtual
reality clip lets viewers watch the show from the perspectives of someone in the
audience, onstage, backstage or right next to McCartney. So far, the clip is only
available on Google Play for users with Android Phones and Google Cardboard.
The GEORGE HARRISON collection, "The Apple Years 1968-75" will be

CHER has canceled the rest of her Dressed To Kill Tour due to a viral infection
that’s affected her kidney function. Cher hopes to make up dates next year.
An unused video clip featuring LANA DEL REY surfaced briefly on the Internet.
The clip shows a man sexually assaulting Lana before walking away and leaving
her with tears streaming down her face. It had been reported that it was for a
MARILYN MANSON video, but his people issued a denial saying, "Manson did
not direct this, shoot it, nor was it for a Marilyn Manson video or outtake footage
made by him or to be used by him with his music."

MUSIC NOTES 2…
QUEEN LATIFAH will host this year’s Nobel Peace Prize concert. The concert
will be held December 11th in Oslo, Norway. Performers will be announced soon.
IGGY AZALEA and JENNIFER LOPEZ will perform "Booty" during Sunday's
American Music Awards, but you may not be getting a good look. ABC censors
will have their fingers on the button just in case they break the ground rules, which
are ‘no cracks’ and ‘no rubbing,’ but apparently spanking is permissible.
IGGY AZALEA has responded to EMINEM’S controversial lyric that alluded to
raping her. However, Iggy didn’t seem too concerned as she tweeted: “I’m bored
of the old men threatening young women as entertainment trend and much more
interested in the young women getting $ trend. Zzzz.”
SNOOP DOGG has introduced his own line of limited-edition organic coconut
candles. They come in two scents, White Rose and Baby Powder, and only 500 are
available for purchase.
RIHANNA says she’s in the studio working on new music. She didn’t say when it
might be out, but did say, "Anybody that's a Rihanna fan is gonna stay a Rihanna
fan, and anybody that's not might become a Rihanna fan...just gear up for it."
TY HERNDON has come out as gay. Herndon told People magazine, "I'm an out,
proud and happy gay man." Herndon says he began coming out to family members
when he was 20 but tried to keep it a secret during his music career.
BILLY GILMAN has come out as gay in a YouTube video posted yesterday.
Apparently eluding to Ty Herndon, Gilman said it had taken him many weeks to
figure out how to approach this video, but today a fellow country artist and friend
made it easier. Gilman said he decided to come out after being spotted with his
partner by a local reporter. (See here)

THE WATERCOOLER…
Thanksgiving travel could be crazier this year. The Triple-A predicts that 46.3
million people will travel at least 50 miles from home during the Thanksgiving
weekend, which is a 4.2% increase over last year and the most since 2007. They
say it’s due in part to Americans being more optimistic about the economy, lower
fuel prices and a desire to travel. More than 89% of holiday travelers will travel by
automobile, while 3.55 million people are expected to fly to their destinations.
The good news for motorists is that people are finally hanging up and driving. A
new survey shows that over the last six years talking on hand-held phones while
driving is dropping. The bad news is it may be because people are too busy surfing
the Internet, reading email and scanning social media while driving. Overall,
despite laws to ban the practice, smart phone-related activities behind the wheel
has steadily increased over the past six years. While talking behind the wheel is
down, accessing the Internet while driving has doubled, from 13% in 2009 to 26%
this year, while checking e-mail while driving has gone from 15% to 25% and
using Twitter has more than doubled from 9% in 2009 to 20% this year.
It will likely come as no surprise, but researchers have found that wearing high
heels makes women more attractive to men. Study author Nicolas Guéguen notes,
“Women’s shoe heel size exerts a powerful effect on men’s behavior.” They
conducted a study in which a woman would drop a glove as she walked. They
found that as the length of the woman’s heel increased, the more likely it was that a
man would help the woman. However, they say heel height had no effect on how
likely women were to help. They also found that the higher a woman’s heels were,
the more likely a man was to approach her. It was also found that men perceived
women in high heels as having more attractive breasts.

THE WATERCOOLER 2…
According to a new blog post by the National Wildlife Federation called "What to
do With Fallen Leaves" it’s recommended that you don’t rake your yard. They say
that leaving leaves on the ground is good for the environment because dry, dead
leaves create a healthy habitat and a food supply for salamanders, chipmunks,
earthworms, and more. The dead leaves are also beneficial to a number of butterfly
and moth species over the winter. They say that if you must rake your leaves, push
them into your plant and flower beds so the critters can still make use of them.

Leesburg, Florida convicted felon Trenton Dennard has an unusual way of making
friends on Facebook. Trenton has been arrested after allegedly committing a driveby shooting of 12-year-old Jahjuan A. Edwards, who was sitting on his porch
Monday night. While Jahjuan was recovering from his wounds the next day, his
aunt, Latoria Brown, received a Facebook friend request from Trenton. Thanks to
the request, Latoria recognized Trenton as the shooter even though she wasn’t
acquainted with him before the crime, and police were able to make the arrest.
An unnamed 34-year-old man from Cambridge, England, walked into a local
Tesco store, showed the staff a gun and threatened to kill them. While there’s no
indication from news reports that he wanted any money, the worst he could’ve
done to the staff was give them paper cuts as he was brandishing a photograph of a
gun. Police were dispatched to the store where they arrested the man before he
could make his getaway in a picture of a car.
It was a rough night for Alexander Ruff at the Viera, Florida Kohl's Department
Store. A loss-prevention officer said he spotted Ruff shoplifting and called a
deputy. That deputy encountered Ruff in the parking lot, where he injured his ankle
diving out of the way of Ruff's fleeing car. After a 14-mile chase, Ruff added
aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, fleeing and eluding, reckless
driving and more to his original shoplifting charge. The ‘and more’ part included
probation violation as he was previously convicted of drug possession, credit card
fraud, grand theft and dealing in stolen property.
At 5’ 5” and 350 pounds, it can be assumed that South Carolina’s Rodney Fowler

sitting on them as he rode through the store on his mobility scooter. Rodney failed
to scoot away with his stolen beef and it was noted that arresting officers needed
two pairs of handcuffs because of Rodney’s large size.

MO’ DUH…
It’s that time of year when we think of those less fortunate who won’t be having
such a cheerful holiday season. A group of Wal-Mart employees in Oklahoma
placed a food bin in their store where people could donate to the needy. In this case
the needy were Wal-Mart employees. A photo of the bin appeared online with the
caption detailing how Wal-Mart holds interoffice food drives for hungry
employees "rather than agree to pay a decent wage or provide full-time hours."
Surveillance video from a home in Cape Town, South Africa showed an alleged
burglar wandering around the back yard of a home while presumably looking for a
point of entry. Luckily for the homeowners they had a guard dog to protect the
place. The unidentified burglar is soon seen on camera jumping a fence and fleeing
in terror to escape the homeowner’s ferocious Yorkshire terrier. The alleged
burglar was captured several days later and told police he has cynophobia, which is
a fear of dogs. (See here)
Michael Morgan was busted for DUI on Highway 101 just north of San Francisco.
Technically, Morgan wasn’t driving as police found him asleep with his foot on the
brake of his car, which was still in drive and blocking the two left lanes of the
highway. When officers tried to wake him, Morgan removed his foot from the
brake, causing the car to begin moving forward until he finally put the vehicle in
park after being told numerous times to stop the car. Morgan’s passenger, who was
also in a deep sleep and also intoxicated, was taken to a hospital.
Coralville, Iowa’s 43-year-old Billy B. Matiyabo worked as a janitor at the public

same time a computer was taken from the children's service desk. Billy later
admitted to police that he viewed “inappropriate material” on the Internet during
his shift and, in order to cover his tracks, he took the computer and destroyed it.
