TINSELTOWN TATTLER…
The NBA dropped the hammer on Los Angeles Clippers owner DONALD
STERLING yesterday. After Sterling confirmed the voice on the infamous audio
tape was his and that the recording was not tampered with, NBA Commissioner
Adam Silver banned him for life and fined him $2.5 million. Silver also said he
would urge the board of governors to force Sterling to sell the team and will do
everything in his power to ensure that happens. The NBA owners have the
authority, subject to 3/4 vote, to remove him as owner. The penalty is the heaviest
possible under the commissioner’s power, which is governed by the NBA's private
constitution and bylaws. While the NBA’s move is being widely applauded,
ousting Sterling probably won’t be as easy as it sounds. Sterling is reportedly
vowing to fight the ruling and a lengthy and nasty legal battle is likely.
George Clooney may be off the market, but PRINCE HARRY may be back on it!
The buzz is that Harry and girlfriend Cressida Bonas have either called it quits or
are at least taking a break. It’s said that Harry’s sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, may
be to blame. The tabloids are saying Kate described the pressures of marrying into
the royal family and Cressida began having second thoughts. Word is that Harry is
hopeful they can work things out, but the engagement that seemed imminent
apparently won’t happen anytime soon, if at all.
KIM KARDASHIAN and KANYE WEST are reportedly getting married this
week in a private, civil ceremony at their home. In fact, the wedding is going to be
so quiet that they got a "confidential" marriage license, which means it doesn’t
have to be made public and they won’t have to go to a courthouse to get married.
Instead, an official from the court will go to them and perform the ceremony. They
still plan to have the big Paris affair, but this one will make it legal, while the other
will be for show and TV cameras.

In what may tweak Selena Gomez off again, JUSTIN BIEBER and KENDALL
JENNER were spotted together in New York. However, it appears to be business
related as they were seen arriving separately at Silver Cup Studios. There were
reports they were going to star in the next Calvin Klein campaign, although that’s
been denied. Word has it that Selena flipped out after she found text messages and
photos from Kylie Jenner on Bieber’s phone at Coachella and caught them flirting.

been with a lady." When Cohen asked if it was more than once, Cameron sort of
took the Fifth and said, "You didn't ask explicitly how I was with a lady, but I have
been with a lady."

all season and word is Rivera has been banned from the set and has been notified

tantrums and storming out of the studio. Radar Online says Naya isn’t even
allowed back on the lot where they film, her Paramount pass has been revoked and
the production crew even packed up her trailer and shipped the contents to her
house. However, Naya’s rep says she hasn't been fired and her not being in the
finale has nothing to do with Lea.

PANIC! AT THE DISCO frontman BRENDON URIE apparently needs a good
accountant as he’s suing a former roommate for allegedly siphoning off his bank
account. They were roommates from 2008 until January, 2010 and Urie says he
gave the guy access to his personal bank account to pay shared living expenses. It
wasn't until November 2013 that Urie noticed the roommate made 70 withdrawals
totaling over $127,000. The roommate’s attorney says the money was used for a
documentary about Urie's life, but he says they never discussed such a project.

presumed suicide note that called Love a “goddess of a wife who sweats ambition
and empathy.”

If you have trouble getting a good night's sleep, you might want to try the new
phenomenon "Sleep Whispering". So-called sleep whisperers make YouTube
videos in which they speak in a soft, comforting voice and make sounds that lull
people into a state of deep relaxation, like running their fingers over the cover of a
book, spreading a deck of cards, or gently rustling a newspaper. Many people
swear that sleep whispering cures insomnia, helps lessen anxiety and depression
and creates "a pleasurable tingling" sensation. Ilse Blansert and Andrea Warren are
among the most popular sleep whisperers online and their sites get millions of hits.

THE WATERCOOLER 2…
Two-time NCAA champion James "The Beast" Nielsen has just set a record by
running a mile in 4-minutes, 57-seconds. Actually, that’s a record in the Beer Mile.
It’s a one-mile race in which the runner must stop every 400 meters to drink a beer.
Nielsen says he trained for a year to break the record, including getting back into
running shape, as well as training his stomach, even studying anatomy and "the
physics of fluid dynamics and air displacement." (See here)
What is the fastest land animal on Earth? It might surprise you to find out that it’s
the mite. Scientists say the mite can travel at 1,300 miles per hour. However,
there’s an asterisk next to that number. That number is based on its body size
rather than actual speed. They say the mite can run up to 322 body lengths per
second and, when human body size is calculated, that’s a comparative 1,300 miles
per hour. That’s about 20 times faster than a cheetah, which is the fastest animal
based on actual speed.

The Golden State Warriors reportedly had a plan to boycott last night’s playoff
game against the Los Angeles Clippers, by walking out as the ball was in the air
for the opening tip-off. Warriors’ players had planned to reach out to the Clippers
players to join them, but when Donald Sterling’s punishment was announced, they
decided it was severe enough and a boycott was unnecessary. Word is that other
NBA teams also had boycott plans.
Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. told reporters in Las Vegas that he wants to buy the
Los Angeles Clippers. Mayweather is a regular at Clippers and Lakers games, but
current owner Donald Sterling is apparently planning to fight a proposed enforced

Providence, Rhode Island police have arrested 34-year-old Gary Deming after he
allegedly attempted to hold up a convenience store and a dry cleaner with a potato
disguised as a gun. The convenience store manager chased him off with a baseball
bat, while a dry cleaning employee gave him a fake $20 from a decoy register.
Deming is also accused of breaking into his sister's home on the same day and
taking a purse, debit card and $100 in cash.

table. Police arrested Bravo as he walked away from the restaurant.
Teenager Brett Bouchard recently had his right arm severed at the elbow in an
accident while cleaning a pasta-making machine at a Boston restaurant. Back in his
Massena, New York hometown, a benefit is being held on Friday to raise money
for Brett’s medical bills and travel expenses for his family to and from Boston,
where Brett is hospitalized following his accident with the pasta machine. While
noble and well-intentioned, organizers apparently failed to see the cruel irony of
holding a benefit spaghetti dinner.
Brittany Medak, Christie Valazquez Coura and Leokham Yothsombath recently
paid off a fine at the Beaverton, Oregon Municipal Court. Afterwards, the girls
celebrated by having an impromptu twerking party in the City Hall parking lot
while lifting their skirts and exposing themselves to people. The girls apparently
figured it wouldn’t be a party without drugs, so they did some of those, which may
be what led one of them to urinate between two cars while another filmed it all.
The fun ended when someone called police, who arrested the girls after finding
cocaine, marijuana and meth in their car, although in a post on her Facebook page,
Leokham claimed the drugs were “molly cut with meth.” In any case, the girls will
be returning to court and will likely have to do more than pay a fine this time.

MO’ DUH…
Today’s ridiculous 911 call was placed in South Amherst, Ohio by an unnamed 72year-old man. Police went to the old geezer’s home where he told officers that his
17-year-old grandson was being lazy. Grandpa said he asked his grandson to do
work around the house, but he continued to play on the computer, so he cut the
Internet cable. That caused the grandson to become very angry and he punched a
hole in the kitchen wall, started calling his grandfather names and walked out of
the house and into the woods. After deputies advised the man of his options, he
said he would handle the discipline.
Michael Vincent Quiros was recently arrested for simple assault after apparently
mistaking a house in Steelton, Pennsylvania for one in New York City. The 24year-old Michael knocked on the door of the home and demanded to see ‘Lindsay,’
but when he was told no one with that name lived there, he became enraged.
Michael later told arresting officers that this was his first visit to New York City. If
you’re wondering how Michael could mistake Steelton, Pennsylvania for New
York City, the police report noted he was highly intoxicated and very disoriented.
Authorities in Britain have confiscated thousands of dollars worth of audio
equipment from an unnamed man after neighbors complained about his loud
music. The unnamed man broke noise ordinances six times and made his
neighbors’ lives understandably miserable as he blasted Celine Dion music in the
afternoon and early evening hours.
An unnamed 17-year-old in Sacramento was cruising around in her SUV when
some kid threw a water bottle at her vehicle. The girl reacted in a calm and rational
manner by chasing the boy through a neighbor's yard, mowing him down and
pinning him between the SUV and a tree. A witness said the boy was screaming
'Stop, stop stop' before he was mowed down. The boy was hospitalized with nonlife threatening injuries, the driver admitted to chasing the boy on purpose, and the
witness said, "She must have snapped."
