After Sterling confirmed the voice on the infamous audio tape was his and that the recording was not tampered with, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver banned him for life and fined him $2.5 million. Silver also said he would urge the board of governors to force Sterling to sell the team and will do everything in his power to ensure that happens. The NBA owners have the authority, subject to 3/4 vote, to remove him as owner. The penalty is the heaviest possible under the commissioner’s power, which is governed by the NBA's private constitution and bylaws. While the NBA’s move is being widely applauded, ousting Sterling probably won’t be as easy as it sounds. Sterling is reportedly vowing to fight the ruling and a lengthy and nasty legal battle is likely. George Clooney may be off the market, but PRINCE HARRY may be back on it! Instead, an official from the court will go to them and perform the ceremony. They still plan to have the big Paris affair, but this one will make it legal, while the other will be for show and TV cameras. Police went to the old geezer’s home where he told officers that his 17-year-old grandson was being lazy. Grandpa said he asked his grandson to do work around the house, but he continued to play on the computer, so he cut the Internet cable.
