Outcomes
Dennis handed out a proposal which focuses heavily on math
achievement, as did Michael from the faculty (Pedagogy and Pathways
for Equity Project, an addition which focuses on campus engagement
for culture shift). After discussion, the committee agreed to blend the
two. Dennis will incorporate the proposals into the draft Student Equity
Plan/Executive Summary and send to committee as soon as possible for
review before the next meeting.
Meeting Summary or Take Away:
1. Program funding will begin in spring 2015. Rachel requested any leftover funds be used for tutoring.
2. Instead of using specific percentages as targets to measure outcomes, Terrence suggested showing improvement
