Beth is enjoying her new directorship; DSPS is in the process of being

Barbara Rigg is happy to be back to “one” job after filling in at the
President’s office every morning.
Jay Jackson will be taking over Director of Counseling duties from Barbara
Schultz-Perez. Counseling is presenting workshops on Probation Dismissal
and Ed Plans, and will begin implementing Student Planning (electronic ed
plans); a new Puente counselor position is open for recruitment.
David has been working on Ed Plans with students and will be attending
and presenting at an EOPS conference.
Lyn has been busy with student paperwork and recently took 9.5 lbs. of
student employment authorizations to work to the mail room.
Laura was appreciative and learned a lot at the Staff Development Day;
she has also learned a lot about how to deal with students from Sesario.
Rachel noted that Laurel Jones has expressed an interest in spending
regular days at the Watsonville Center; Alicia Beard has been hired for
Leti’s former position in the SRC/Enrollment Services; on T/W/Th
counselors are working afternoons only for the next couple of weeks;
