TINSELTOWN TATTLER…
Glee’s NAYA RIVERA married actor Ryan Dorsey on July 19th in Cabo San
Lucas. They started dating just after Naya and rapper Big Sean broke off their
engagement in April and told People magazine, "We feel truly blessed to be joined
as husband and wife. Our special day was fated and everything we could have ever
asked for." The date was fated for Naya as it was the same wedding date that she
and Big Sean had planned. Naya also wore a Monique Lhuillier gown, just like she
planned to wear when marrying Big Sean. In another side note, Rivera never gave
back Sean's engagement ring, so that could be on her finger as well.
A rep for ZOE SALDANA has confirmed those tabloid reports that she’s pregnant!
It’ll be the first child for her and husband Marco Perego, who she married last year
in a secret ceremony. Us Weekly says Zoe is three months along. A source told the
magazine, "Zoe has always wanted a big family…and Marco's on board too!"
RICHARD GERE is apparently no longer cooking with TV chef PADMA
LAKSHMI. They started dating in April, but Gere was spotted holding hands with
an unidentified brunette in Southampton last Friday night. However, a source close
to the couple said they’ve been traveling a lot internationally and saw each other
just last week.

in February and he’d caught her flushing drugs down the toilet.

TINSELTOWN TATTLER 2…
ARIANA GRANDE went on Twitter to tell her followers that her grandfather lost
his battle with cancer. Arianna had been posting updates on his health and shared
photos of them together from his hospital room. One person she didn’t tell is her
brother Frankie Grande, who's a contestant on "Big Brother." One of grandpa's last
wishes was to keep his death a secret from Frankie so he wouldn’t quit the show.
However, "Big Brother" producers gave him a note from the family telling him of
the death. Frankie and some of the other house guests started crying, although the
more cynical types are saying he’s milking his grandfather’s death for sympathy
and using it to his advantage on the show.
WHITNEY HOUSTON’S mom, Cissy Houston, is speaking out against that
Lifetime TV biopic on her late daughter again. Cissy says her family is
"exhausted" by the "continuing misinformation and comments offered by people
who did not know her." Cissy complains that no one connected with the movie
knew Whitney and is appealing to producers to "please please let her rest." When
the TV movie was first announced, the family stated that they wanted any movie
about Whitney to be for the big screen and not TV. The biopic will be directed by
Angela Bassett with singer Deborah Cox performing Whitney’s music since the
family denied producers permission to use any of Whitney’s original material.
It turns out the reason that RAY J is being accused of sexual assault in that Beverly
Hills hotel bar isn’t for accidentally brushing up against a woman’s butt, but for
grabbing her boob. Ray J got into an altercation at the bar, was tossed out, and
kicked out a police car window and spit on an officer during his arrest. Both staff
and patrons at the bar supposedly saw the bob grab and one person says that Ray J
came into the place "wacked out on something" and pushed an 8-year-old in the
hotel lobby as he made his way to the bar.

THE WATERCOOLER…
Another eerie story is coming out in the aftermath of the Malaysian Airlines crash.
In the days before the flight, the mother of an 11-year-old boy who was on the
plane says he’d been agitated and asked her questions about death. Samira Calehr
said her son Miguel was normally cheerful, but the night before the flight, he
embraced her and refused to let go. Just before going through customs, Miguel
hugged her goodbye and walked toward passport control, but then ran back, threw
his arms around her and said, "Mama, I'm going to miss you. What will happen if
the airplane crashes?" Of course, she told him everything will be OK, but Miguel
kept looking back at her as he left to board the plane.
Indiana 17-year-old Haris Suleman was killed when his plane crashed shortly after
taking off from Pago Pago in American Samoa. Suleman was attempting to set a
record as the youngest person to fly a single engine aircraft around-the-world.
Suleman’s father also died aboard the flight. The Sulemans were raising money for
a charity that builds schools in rural Pakistan. The cause of the crash is unknown.
Not free to move about the country were Duff Watson and his kids. Duff is a
Southwest Airlines frequent flier and the perks include being able to be among the
first to board the flights. However, as he and his kids were about to board a flight
in Denver, the gate agent told Duff that his children couldn’t board with him. He
says it was never a problem before, but they waited and he asked for the gate
agent’s last name. Duff says she told him: ‘You don’t need my last name for
anything,’ and he responded, ‘Real nice way to treat an A-list member.’ They later
boarded the plane and Duff tweeted something like, ‘Wow, rudest agent in Denver.
Kimberly S, gate C39, not happy @SWA.’ Before he knew it, Duff heard his
name over the plane’s loud speaker saying he needed to disembark. The same gate
agent told him he was a safety threat and that he needed to delete his tweet or else
she’d call the police. Duff says his kids were crying and the agent watched as he
deleted the tweet and was then allowed to re-board the plane.

THE WATERCOOLER 2…
It’s long been believed that we should all get eight hours of sleep to maintain our
health. Research shows that Americans are sleeping less than they used to and the
experts now say that seven hours might actually be the better for us. One professor
says, “The lowest mortality and morbidity is with seven hours,” and “Eight hours
or more has consistently been shown to be hazardous.” While most experts still
generally recommend the range of seven to nine hours nightly for healthy adults,
the Center for Disease Control and Prevention currently suggests seven to eight
hours, although that may change with the new data.
There’s good news for those who can’t wait to get their caffeine fix. Starbucks has
created a mobile app that’ll let people order and pay for their drink before they get
to the store. They’re going to start testing it in one unnamed city later this year.
There’ll likely be bugs to work out, such as the timing so people don’t show up to
find a cold cup of coffee.
If you want to meet or even marry a millionaire, New York City is the place to go.
Researchers at Spear's magazine say about 1-in-25 New Yorkers is a millionaire,
and that’s not even including the value of their homes. New York has the fourthhighest proportion of millionaire residents in the world, following Monaco, Zurich
and Geneva.
According to new analysis by the University of British Columbia and Harvard,
New York is considered the unhappiest city in America, although they found some
young people are still willing to relocate to less-happy cities if it means a good job
or cheaper housing. The rest of the top 10 unhappiest metropolitan areas with a
population greater than 1 million: 2. Pittsburgh; 3. Louisville; 4. Milwaukee; 5.
Detroit; 6. Indianapolis; 7. St. Louis; 8. Las Vegas; 9. Buffalo; 10. Philadelphia.
Incidentally, the happiest metro areas were in Virginia as Richmond-Petersburg
and Norfolk-Virginia Beach-Newport News were the top two.

DUH…
After a night of underage drinking and cruising around Bonney Lake, Washington,
in a golf cart, Grant Agather, Elvis Marler and Austin Stone got the bright idea of
burglarizing a home. The three stooges allegedly broke into a garage and stole a
stool, a computer tower, a hammer and cordless drill. As you might guess, the
drunken burglary did not go unnoticed and some of the stolen goods were later
found by arresting officers stashed in a crawl space at Elvis’ house.
On November 30th, 2010, Nigel Sykes forced his way into Newport, Delaware’s
Seasons Pizza restaurant at gunpoint and demanded money. What Nigel got was a
pummeling by employees, a serving of hot soup poured over his body and a taste
of stun gun from police. Nigel later pleaded guilty and is serving 15 years in
prison, but is now suing Seasons Pizza, its employees and the police department
for over $260,000 for the injuries he suffered during his attempted robbery. Sadly,
a judge has allowed parts of Nigel’s case to go forward. Despite admitting in his
claim that he attempted to rob the place, Nigel also asked to take back his guilty
plea saying, "I'm not good at making good choices."
Mark John Tucker was run over by a street sweeper in St. Petersburg, Florida this

operator. Police say Tucker was attempting to get on the vehicle when it began to
move, causing him to fall under the vehicle, which continued moving, running over
the now hospitalized Tucker.
Boca Raton, Florida’s Suzanne Morales slipped into her lingerie and took a nap.
While that’s not unusual, the fact the she did this in her car in the parking garage of
Nordstrom’s is a tad strange. In what explains Suzanne’s unusual sleeping
arrangement, police noted they could smell alcohol and suspected she might be
drunk. However, when officers asked the scantily clad Suzanne to step out of her
car, she refused, locked the doors, and attempted to drive away, nearly hitting one
of the cops. Suzanne did hit a cop car and became trapped and was arrested.

An 85-year-old widow in Ratlam, India, identified only as Premlata, heard two
men attempting to break into her home. Instead of fleeing or hiding, Premlata went
tossed a bucket of water at the crooks. When one of them grabbed at Premlata, she
whacked the crooks with a stick. Neighbors heard the commotion and called
police, who quickly arrived and arrested the thugs. When Premlata went down to
the police station to identify the crooks, she made them do sit-ups as punishment.
Police gave Premlata about $80 and a cell phone to acknowledge her bravery.
Michigan’s 58-year-old Sadie Bell had a long-term friends with benefits situation
with a gentleman. Sadly, that arrangement has ended after their final encounter left
