Present weather conditions are favourable for the sowing of potato. Hence, farmers having proper irrigation facilities are advised for the sowing of the same. Present weather conditions are favourable for proper sowing of gram, pea, mustard and linseed. Hence, farmers are advised for sowing of these crops after the kharif crops harvest with residual moisture. Present weather conditions are suitable for sowing of nursery of cauliflower, tomato, brinjal, chilli etc. Before sowing seed should be treated with Bavistin or Thiram @ 2-3 g per kg seed. Where the sowing has already been done, spraying of Bavistin @ 1 g per liter water solution is advised to protect the seedlings from damping off.
