Looking to rainfall forecast, farmers are suggested to transplant 22-25
days old paddy seedlings in their fields where water facilities are
available. Application of 25-30kg/ha Nitrogen,40 kg/ha Phosphorus and
30 kg/ha Potas fertilizer and 25 kg zink sulphate/ha in the soil before
transplanting.
Sowing of Bahar, Pusa-9, Narendra Arher-1 varieties of Pigeon pea is
advised. Application of 20 kg/ha Nitrogen, 45 kg/ha Phosphorus and 20
kg/ha Potash and 20 kg sulphur/ha before sowing of seed. Keep seed
rate 18-20 kg/ha. Seed should be treated with thiram/Capton@2.5gm/kg
of seed.
Sowing of til crop is advised up to 15th July. Krishna, Kaakee safed,
Kalika, Pragati varieties are recommended for sowing. Application of
60 quintal/ha FYM compost at land preparation and 20 kg/ha
Nitrogen,20 kg/ha Phosphorus and 20 kg/ha Potas fertilizer before
sowing of seed. Keep seed rate 4kg/ha. Seed should be treated with
thiram@2gm/kg of seed.
Sowing of Urd crop is advised. T-9, Pant U-19, Pant urd31,Uttara,Navin varieties are recommended for sowing. Application of
20 kg/ha Nitrogen,45 kg/ha Phosphorus and 20 kg/ha Potas fertilizer
and 20 kg sulphur/ha before sowing of seed. Keep seed rate 15-20
kg/ha. Seed should be treated with thiram@2.5gm/kg of seed.
Prophylactic measures against contagious diseases for milch animals are
advised as per instruction of veterinarians.
plica Application of well decomposed FYM/Compost is suggested during land preparation. It increases the water use
efficiency and nutrient quantity in the soil. Always use balance amount of fertilizer after soil testing. Application
of potash fertilizer is must because of it helps in minimizing the losses due to moisture stress.
Present weather is favorable for planting of new orchards. Before planting, pits should be treated with 5ml of
cloropyrifos 20 EC with per liter of water to prevent termite and white grub.
Keeping view of increasing moisture in environment farmers are suggested to monitor the grain storage against
insect infestation. if insect found in grain than application of celfos tablet @3/ton. Keep the grain storage air
sealed.
Keeping in view of rainfall forecast, farmer are advised with precaution /postpond spraying in the crop field. if
spraying is more needed then it may be done when sky is clear and add sticker 1ml/Liter in pesticide solutions.
