Farmers are advised for the seed treatment with Bavistin before sowing. Also, farmers are advised for transplanting where nursery of these vegetables are ready . Looking to the monsoon withdrawal situation, farmers are advised to store water in the rice fields particularly in medium and long duration rice varieties. Medium duration rice is in panicle emergence stage, so farmers are advised for the application of last dose of nitrogenous fertilizer. Rice crop is in panicle emergence stage, and attack of hoppers is more than 8-10 hoppers/plant then therefore, farmers are advised for the spray of Ethiemidachlorprid @ 60 ml/acre of water for the control of plant hoppers. Looking to the present weather condition infestation of different insect pests like stem borer is common. Looking to this farmers are advised to keep watch on the crop and if the infestation is above ETL, use insecticides like Carbofuran @33 kg/ha. or Fartera 10 kg/ha.
