Farmers are advised do not to mix chemical together for spray and use all precautions while spraying. It is better to avoid spraying in afternoon. 2. Looking to the mainly dry weather condition farmers are advised to harvest the matured rice crop and keep it in the field for proper sun drying only for 1-2 days. 3. Now medium duration rice varieties are at flowering and milking stage in most of the fields. Looking to this farmer are advised to keep watch on the crop for insect/disease and infestation and if the pest population is above ETL, use insecticides recommended by agriculture officers. It is also recommended to go for integrated insect and disease management methods. 4. Farmers are advised for proper water drainage in the nursery of tomato crop and if the plant mortality is being observed then Captan 2.5 grams per litre should be drenched in the soil. 5.
