These include but are not limited to – site-specific and company standard operating procedures (SOPs), occupational health and safety, food safety and quality management requirements. Ancillary plant – refers to plant or machinery separate to the main process, and may include but is not limited to: specialised packaging machines, palletisers, wrapping machines, cooking machines, cutting, grating and milling machines. 2 Legislation relevant to this unit standard includes but is not limited to – Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992, Animal Products Act 1999, Animal Products (Dairy) Regulations 2005, relevant Dairy Specification/Notices. Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Oversee ancillary plant operations in a dairy operation. Evidence requirements 1.1 Equipment is inspected and monitored to confirm safety and operating condition in accordance with organisational requirements. 1.2 The process is monitored to confirm performance is maintained within specification in accordance with organisational requirements. 1.3 Materials and/or consumable levels are maintained as required in accordance with organisational requirements. Evidence requirements 2.1 Any defective product, process, materials and equipment performance are identified, and rectified and/or reported in accordance with organisational requirements.
