Classification Dairy Manufacturing > Dairy - Generic Available grade Achieved Explanatory notes 1 Work must be carried out in accordance with organisational requirements, licensing requirements, legislative requirements, and industrial awards and agreements. 2 The planning process may be computer controlled or manually controlled or a combination. 3 Information to assist planning may include instructions, standard operating procedures, legislation, specifications, business plans, performance plans, quality requirements, workplace agreements. 4 Planning will be related to work tasks and environments which are familiar to the individual. 5 Reporting systems may include electronic and manual data recording and storage systems. 6 Evidence for this unit standard needs to be supplied from the workplace and should show how the candidate is planning their work activities for their function in the dairy industry. 7 Organisational requirements refers to instructions to staff on policy and procedures which are documented in memo or manual format and are available in the workplace. These requirements include but are not limited to – site specific requirements, and company quality management requirements. Outcome 2 Implement plan in accordance with organisational requirements. Evidence requirements 2.1 Resources and services are checked to confirm availability for the planned activity. 2.2 Performance is monitored against planned outcomes and adjustments are made to ensure outcomes are achieved. 2.3 Workplace information is recorded in the organisational recording system. Outcome 3 Review and modify plan according to organisational requirements. Evidence requirements 3.1 Actual outcomes are compared with planned performance. 3.2 Opportunities for improvement are identified and built into the continuous improvement processes. 3.3 Reports and records are used to document performance and to provide information to assist on-going performance.
