Social
Studies
Students will be
learning how the
United States
government can be
changed through
social movements.
The movements
that will be focused
on are the same
that the students
will be researching
in their inquiry
project for writing.
Science
Reading
Students will be using
mysteries and myths in order
to identify characteristics of
each genre. They will also be
focusing on point of view and
working on using examples to
support written responses.
Please continue to make sure
your students are reading for
at least 20 minutes every
night. Since a new quarter has
now started, we will have a
new set of book logs. The
expectations are that the
students will read at least 6
books and write short
summaries about each of them
that they can share with their
classmates.
