The unit will include debt, credit, and income. The students will be given real world scenarios where will they need to make financial decision based on their income, debt, and credit limit. Science Students will be using microscopes to study microorganisms. They will identify and compare animal and plant cells using characteristics of both. They will also be learning how genetics are passed from one generation to the next. Reading Students will be using informational text and works of fiction during the month of May. We will be working with the students on their responses to their reading. We will be looking for students to give evidence, quotes, and examples from the text in the responses. Please continue to make sure your students are reading for at least 20 minutes every night. The students have the month of May to complete their required reading.
