Math By: Mrs. Patel The students were busy reviewing their multiplication and problem solving skills this week. We reviewed both methods of multiplication: partial products and regrouping (traditional). Then, the students were to choose which method they were most comfortable with to complete their multiplication work. We also spent some time reviewing Unit 1 (Chapters 1-3) for our first unit test, which was today (Friday). You should expect the unit test to come home sometime next week to be signed and returned back to school. Have a great weekend! There will be a test just on the vocabulary next week on all the terms we discussed. They should have their baggie of words and their meanings at home this weekend so they can review for the test. They were also asked to bring home their text book so they could read over the vocabulary in context as a review. The other part of the test will include an activity that the students will complete in class.
