POSITION DESCRIPTION TITLE: FLSA STATUS: Coordinator, Cooperative Association of States for Scholarships (CASS) Exempt CATEGORY: Professional Support GRADE: C JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the coordination of the development and implementation of CASS international training program at El Paso Community College in partnership with Georgetown University for students from the Caribbean and Central America. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: YEARLY PERCENT OF TIME 25% 1. Responsible for day-to-day interaction with program participants in order to facilitate successful implementation. 2. Coordinate the implementation of the CASS international program district-wide, as well as with community organizations. 20% 3. Communicate with appropriate EPCC departments in order to deliver programs and services. 15% 4. Supervise staff, modifications. recommend 10% 5. Coordinate and monitor tours, trips, job shadowing and internships for the students with community organizations. 10% 6. Prepare and compile all aggregate data for reporting purposes to funding source. 10% 7. Assesses participants’ performance/progress. 5% 8.
