Per an interpretation received from Barry Gupton with DOI if accessible
seating is provided in the bar area (same room) then the bar is not
required to be accessible.
A stair that has a ramp adjacent to it would still require the nosing to be
marked.
Exterior area for assisted rescue and two way communications. The
commentary states that communications is not required “because of the
immediate visibility of a person at an exterior area for assisted rescue”.
Therefore if the area is located where immediate visibility is not present
such as in the rear of a warehouse) then two way communications shall
be provided per section1007.6.3
