R408 All drains must now terminate outside of the crawl space. New in the 2012 code. In 2012 code attic access is now required when there is 400 sq. ft. with 60” of head room, up from 100 sq.ft. R-13 will be required for insulation of basement walls for zone 3 in the 2012 code which is an increase from R-0 we currently have Attics Access Insulation of Basement Walls IAPMO Compliance Reports Guards R703.8 Item 4 Priority Inspections Code Training IAPMO compliance reports are not acceptable to this department. Compliance reports must be from ICC. Exceptions must be approved by Lon McSwain Building Code Administrator. When benches are built into a guard rail system (permanent attachment) then the top of the guard rail must be 36” above the seat. For doors exposed to the weather flashing shall be provided over all projecting wood trim (typically Z flashing at top of brickmould) Concrete pours are priority inspection, it must be noted on the inspection request when a foundation is a poured concrete foundation to be a priority inspection.
