For Immediate Release – Lawton, OK, July 29, 2004 Special Saturday enrollment clinic set at CU As Cameron University’s fall semester draws closer, officials have scheduled a special enrollment clinic for Saturday, Aug. 7, to benefit prospective students who have not been able to enroll because of conflicts with work schedules or other summer activities. The enrollment clinic will begin with registration in the University Theatre beginning at 8 a.m. and an information fair next door in the Band Room. Both are part of the Louise D. McMahon Fine Arts Complex, located in the 300 block of University Drive in Lawton. The formal program starts at 9 a.m. Besides enrolling in fall classes, students can learn about the realities of academic life, such as adjusting to living away from home for the first time. Cameron’s “Aggie Ambassadors” will conduct portions of the program and share their experiences in adapting to college life, including successfully integrating social and academic activities, taking financial responsibility, and learning skills in time management. Reservations are required, since seating is limited.
