For Immediate Release – Lawton, OK, Oct. 11, 2004 Cameron to host 400 students & parents Cameron University will host approximately 400 students and their parents at its annual “Preview Day 2005” on Saturday, Oct. 16. Area high school seniors and parents have been invited to find out more about the university and its programs in order to help them in the college decision-making process, according to CU admissions director Zoe DuRant. “This is a great opportunity for both students and parents to learn what it takes to be admitted to Cameron and how the university can assist in finding needed financial support and merit-based scholarships,” DuRant said. “Your Future Awaits You!” is the theme of this year’s edition of the annual program. Participants will begin the morning at an information fair where more than 40 academic, student service and student organizations will have booths and tables inside the CU Fitness Center. Following the information fair, students and their parents will learn about the admission process, what type of federal financial aid is available, and what scholarship help is offered by Cameron. At the conclusion of the program, CU’s “Aggie Ambassadors” will offer walking tours of the campus and answer questions from a student’s perspective.
