Members introduced themselves. Charles Petersen (faculty representative from OM&IS) and Liz Williams (BS Marketing major) were welcomed to the committee.
Faculty Asst Chair/Secy James Burton will serve as assistant faculty chair and secretary for the 2012-13 academic year.
Committee Orientation The committee reviewed and updated the contents of the Curriculum Handbook which includes the tentative meeting schedule for the year, the mission and scope of duties of the committee, guidelines for curricular revisions, and the assurance of learning process and assessments for 2012-13. The Assessment Team meetings will be held on the
Tuesdays College Curriculum doesn’t meet, with representatives from each department.
October 26 was announced as the catalog deadline.
AACSB Visit
Future Agenda Items
Members of the AACSB Visit Team have been identified. January 26-28, 2014 are the dates for the visit.
Dean Schoenbachler asked the committee to place on a future agenda the following topics for discussion:
permitting double (or triple) majors within the College of Business
allowing students to declare the business administration minor—and how to gate this

examination of course content of UBUS 223
Members reported anticipated curricular items to come before the committee this year.
