RECOGNIZING: That the Northern Iowa Student Government is committed to serving the
needs of the student body at the University of Northern Iowa; and
RECOGNIZING: The Northern Iowa Student Government looks to interact with student
organizations every year; and
FURTHER RECOGNIZING: The Director of Diversity and Student Life is planning a student
organization social and all student organization leaders are invited; and
FURTHER RECOGNIZING: That the social will be held on September 30 from 3:30-5; and
FURTHER RECOGNIZING: That the event will cost $1000.00 and facilitates networking and
socializing across organizations, and particularly, with NISG; and
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED: That $1000.00 from the operations budget be allocated to
the Director of Diversity and Student Life.
