WHEREAS: That the Northern Iowa Student Government is committed to serving the
needs of the student body at the University of Northern Iowa; and
WHEREAS: The Northern Iowa Student Government hires Directors to carry out the
will of the Senate; and
RECOGNIZING: That Mr. Samuel George is well qualified to fulfill the duties of the Director
of Local Government Relations; and
FURTHER RECOGNIZING: The Mr. George has had an extremely relevant internship with
the city of Marion and a passion for city governance; and
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED: that Sam George is appointed to the position of
Director of Local Government Relations under the Evans Beard Administration
starting October 29th.
