WHEREAS: That the Northern Iowa Student Government is committed to serving the needs of
the student body at the University of Northern Iowa; and
WHEREAS: The Northern Iowa Student Government hires Directors to carry out the will of the
Senate; and
RECOGNIZING: That Ms. Lynch is well qualified to fulfill the duties of the Director of
Governmental Relations as laid out by the Northern Iowa Student Government Constitution and
By-Laws; and
FURTHER RECOGNIZING: That Ms. Lynch has served as the Vice President of External
Relations of CATS which has provided her useful knowledge about how the institution works,
and she has participated in UNI Day at the Capital; and
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED: that Elizabeth Lynch is appointed to the position of Director
of Governmental Relations under the Evans-Beard Administration starting April 15th.
