RECOGNIZING: That the Northern Iowa Student Government is committed to serving the
needs of the student body at the University of Northern Iowa; and
FURTHER RECOGNIZING: The Northern Iowa Student Government looks to hire a Director
of Local Government Relations to work as a liaison between the Northern Iowa Student
Government and Cedar Falls City Council, and local election candidates; and
FURTHER RECOGNIZING: That Ms. Petsche is well qualified for the position with more
than six years of experience helping with political campaigns and other political involvement;
and
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED: that Mallory Petsche is appointed to the position of Director
of Local Government Relations under the Gartman-Andersen Administration.
