WHEREAS: That the Northern Iowa Student Government is committed to serving the
needs of the student body at the University of Northern Iowa; and
WHEREAS: The Northern Iowa Student Government hires Directors to carry out the
will of the Senate; and
RECOGNIZING: That Mr. Purcell is well qualified to fulfill the duties of the Director
of Disability Services; and
FURTHER RECOGNIZING: The Mr. Purcell had several ideas on how to improve campus
accessibility; and
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED: that Thomas Purcell is appointed to the position of
Director of Disability Services under the Evans Beard Administration
starting October 29th.
