WHEREAS: That the Northern Iowa Student Government is committed to serving the needs of
the student body at the University of Northern Iowa; and
WHEREAS: The Northern Iowa Student Government hires Directors to carry out the will of the
Senate; and
RECOGNIZING: That Ms. Shew is well qualified to fulfill the duties of the Director of
Administration and Finance as laid out by the Northern Iowa Student Government Constitution
and By-Laws; and
FURTHER RECOGNIZING: That Ms. Shew has had unique experience working with the
previous Director in this position and the Organization and Finance Committee; and
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED: that Abigail Shew is appointed to the position of Director of
Administration under the Evans-Beard Administration starting April 15th.
