WHEREAS: That the Northern Iowa Student Government is committed to serving the
needs of the student body at the University of Northern Iowa; and
WHEREAS: The Northern Iowa Student Government hires Directors to carry out the
will of the Senate; and
RECOGNIZING: That Ms. McKeone is well qualified to fulfill the duties of the Director
of First Year Students; and
FURTHER RECOGNIZING: The Ms. McKeone had a passion to improve students’
experience as they transition to UNI; and
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED: that Alyssa McKeone is appointed to the position of
Director of First Year Students under the Evans Beard Administration
starting October 29th.
