WHEREAS: That the Northern Iowa Student Government is committed to serving the needs of
the student body at the University of Northern Iowa; and
WHEREAS: The Northern Iowa Student Government hires Directors to carry out the will of the
Senate; and
RECOGNIZING: That Ms. Beisel is well qualified to fulfill the duties of the Director of Public
Relations as laid out by the Northern Iowa Student Government Constitution and By-Laws; and
FURTHER RECOGNIZING: That Ms. Beisel has served as the Vice President of Public
Relations for PSE and is studying electronic media, which have provided her necessary skills in
graphic design, photography, and videography; and
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED: that Carly Beisel is appointed to the position of Director of
Public Relations under the Evans-Beard Administration starting April 15th.
