Role Purpose
To maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the office complex of FCC
Environment at their Welham Lane Depot.
Key Responsibilities






It is essential that you have regard to your responsibilities under the terms of
the Company's Health & Safety Policy. You must always adopt the safe
working practices described in the relevant Codes of Practice and adhere to
other guidance and instructions which you may receive from time to time in
respect of Health & Safety.
At all times you must ensure that nothing you do endangers or is likely to
endanger the Health & Safety of yourself, your colleagues and the General
Public
To carry out cleaning, as directed, to common areas of the building including
emptying bins and disposing of contents, wash up, clean down the kitchen
surfaces, wipe out microwave, clean down all desktops and surrounds,
vacuum carpeted areas and sweep and mop non-carpeted areas. On a
monthly basis clean out fridge, clean the blinds.
To clean ladies and gents toilets (including the outside toilets), washbasins
etc on a daily basis, top up toilet rolls, soap, towels etc, sweep and mop
floors.
Ensure there are adequate cleaning supplies, toilet rolls, soaps, towels etc
and advise office of requirements.
To undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required by FCC
Environment, for example: Litter picking of the depots yard.
Qualifications and Experience (preferred)
Previous experience in office industrial cleaning preferred.


Able to work as part of team and use own initiative

Deliver a quality service with a high level of customer care

Resolve or refer queries from the client or members of the public in a
polite and respectful manner

Be Health and Safety Aware

Understand the importance of Risk Assessments, Manual Handling and
COSHH assessments

Work out doors in all weathers.

Have a flexible to work and working hours
Other Information
Location – Within the District of Harborough
Reporting to – Chargehand, Supervisor & Contract Manager
A minimum of two hours per day may be required.
