PROPOSED ROTO-MILLING AND ASPHALT OVERLAY OF PDMB SOUTH-BOUND LANE
(Sta. 2+325.00 to 3+503.00) PROJECT (INFR 15-001)

The Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA), through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites contractors
registered with and classified by the Philippines Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) to apply for eligibility and if
found eligible, to bid for the hereunder contract:

Removal of existing asphalt wearing coarse and replacement with fresh asphalt
along south bound portions of the PDMB at CBP-1, Islands B & C, Parañaque
City, Metro Manila

Seventeen Million One Hundred Twenty One Thousand Four Hundred
Eighty Three Pesos and 90/100 (Php 17,121,483.90), Philippine Currency

Prospective bidders should possess a valid PCAB License with Size Range – Medium A; License Category – B
and Classification of General Engineering (Road, Highways, Pavement), have completed a similar contract with a
value of at least 50% of the ABC, and have key personnel and equipment (listed in the Eligibility Forms) available for
the prosecution of the contract. The BAC will use non-discretionary pass/fail criteria in the Eligibility Check as well
as Preliminary Examination of Bids. The BAC will conduct post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid.
All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding
Conference, Evaluation of Bids, Post-qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent
provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR), Sixth Edition.
The schedule of BAC activities is as follows:

The BAC will issue to prospective bidders the bidding documents at the PRA Office, 7th Floor, Legaspi Towers 200,
Paseo de Roxas, Makati City, upon their submission of the REI, and upon their payment of a non-refundable amount of
Twenty Five Thousand Pesos (Php 25,000.00) to the PRA Cashier. Prospective bidders shall submit the Bid
Documents (with the Eligibility Requirements) to the BAC at the said address on the prescribed deadline of
submission.
The PRA assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the
preparation of their bids. The PRA reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, to annul the bidding process, and to
reject all Bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or
Bidders.
