Invitation for Bids for the Supply and Delivery of Manual Meteorological Instruments

Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the
procurement
of
Supply
and
Delivery
of
Manual
Meteorological
Instruments(Thermometers, Sunshine cards, Micrometer hooked gauge and
Evaporation pan set with stilling well)
1. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents from
DHM, Babarmahal, Katmandu, P.O.Box 406, Babarmahal,
Kathmandu, Nepal,

Bidding documents may be purchased from the above office on or before 22/11/2069 by eligible
Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm
registration certificate, VAT resitered certifate, tax clearance certifícate up to fiscal year 2068/69
and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs. 1000 (In words: One thousand only). The
payment mode is direct deposit to Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Kathmandu, Nepal.
2. Sealed Bids must be submitted to the following address on or before 23/12/2069 before 12:00
noon NST. Documents received after this deadline shall not be accepted.
3. Bids shall be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend on
23/11/2069 before 2:00pm NST at following address. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days
counting from the day of bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security, amounting to a
NRs minimum of Thirty thousand Nepalese rupees, which shall be valid for minimum 30
days beyond the bid validity period(Insert date). If the bidder wishes to submit the Bid Security in
the form of cash, the cash should be deposited in following address and account no. (sf]if tyf

submit the receipt along with the bid or Bidding Security provided by A class commercial bank of
Nepal in prescribed format in the name of DHM.
4. If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the
next working day shall be considered the last day. In such a case the bid validity and bid security
validity shall be recognized with effect from the original bid submission deadline.
5. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without
assigning reason, whatsoever.
