The AP State Agro Industries Development Corporation Ltd (APAGROS), for and on behalf
of the VBRI, AH Department, GoAP, invites sealed bids from reputed eligible bidders for

d) Opening of bids: 1600hrs on 23-11-2006
e) Completion period: Six months
f) A BIDDER CAN QUOTE FOR ONE OR ALL PACKAGES, AS PER
ELIGIBILITY AND CHOICE
1) ELIGIBILITY AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
a)The bidders must meet the following minimum qualifying criteria for Design, Supply,
Installation, Testing, Commissioning& Validation of process equipment packages at
VBRI, Shantinagar, Hyderabad (Ref. No. APAGROS:VBRI:06/2006/3-I to VI)
1. Bidder’s annual financial turnover in any of the last three financial years ending 31st
March shall not be less than Rs. 250.00 lakhs.for Package-I and Rs.50 lakhs for packages II
to VI
2. Bidders must have successfully completed similar works during the last three years two
similar completed works of value each not less than 50% of the estimated cost of bid or one
order of 75% and above of estimated cost of bid ( The bidder/s in support of their
eligibility should submit a copy of the relevant P.O., satisfactory completion, TDS Certificate
received from their clients for the works.)
3. Bidder/s shall furnish a certified copy of the Annual Report for the previous completed
three years (audited balance sheet and profit & loss account) along with their PAN and
Service Tax Registration number.
2) Purchase of Bidding Document
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from office of AP Agro Industries
Development Corporation Ltd. Interested bidders can purchase the bidding documents
either in person or by mail on a written request, in their letter heads, submitted/furnished in
duplicate along with a nonrefundable tender fee as specified above.
Each set of bidding document may be purchased by any interested eligible bidder on
payment of non-refundable tender fee (as indicated above) by a crossed demand draft dawn
in favour of AP State Agro Industries Development Corporation Ltd., payable at
Hyderabad, either in person or by mail, between 11.00 hours and 1700 hours on any working
day (Monday to Saturday) except public holidays and Second Saturday.
APAGROS shall not be responsible for any delay in receipt of the bidding document, sent
by Mail.
3. Submission of bid
The bidders, who purchase the bidding document, are eligible for submission of bids in
their names only.
4. Bid Security/Earnest Money Deposit (EMD)
All bids must be accompanied by bid security (EMD) should be in the form specified in
the bidding document. Bids not accompanied with EMD, shall be summarily rejected.
5. Opening of Bids
The bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder’s representatives on the date and
time specified above.
6. Rights Reserved by APAGROS
AP State Agro Industries Development Corporation Ltd does not bind itself to accept the
lowest bid. APAGROS reserves the right to award the job either in part or full. APAGROS
at its sole discretion and without assigning any reason thereof, also reserves the right to
accept any/or reject any or all bids.
