Role Purpose The Assistant Re-use Shop Manager is responsible for helping and substituting for the shop manager in the day-to-day running of the Reuse shop at the Hessle landfill Site and is accountable for developing profitable performance by motivating staff and volunteers. Page: 1 of 2 Key Responsibilities Day to day management of the shop when the Shop Manager is on leave or having a day off. Delivery of the budgeted performance for the shop. Supervising stock control and pricing. Helping to deliver and monitor the Reuse shop budget. Helping to deliver the marketing activities for the business in line with FCC central management requirements. Dealing with Customer service issues. Layout of the shop and stock display. Qualifications and Experience (preferred) Significant retail experience preferably in the 3rd sector. Educated to O level standard or equivalent life experience. Computer literate. Personal Qualities Must have excellent business and commercial skills. Must be Honest. Must be a team player. Must be hardworking. Must be able to work across different levels of management and customers. Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service. Strong communication skills.
