Periodic Maintenance:
The Periodic Maintenance was due during 5th year from (COD) that is before 14-11-2013. No
periodic overlays carried out during 5th year by the Concessionaire. Thereby the condition of
the pavement is getting deteriorated.

Periodic Maintenance has not been completed as yet even during 6th year.

Non Functioning of highway lights:
Approx 10% of the Highway Lights are found non functional. Besides this 9 numbers of
electric poles are found damaged/uprooted. They are still not reinstalled.

Road Signs:
13 traffic signs are found missing at highway and some are damaged due to weathering action,
corrosion, vandalism. The missing and damaged traffic signs are yet to be replaced by the
Concessionaire.

Replacement of boundary stones:
A few Boundary pillars are still missing. They are yet to be fixed at site.

Road Marking:
Road Line marking with hot applied thermo plastic paint on toll road is to be carried out soon
after any overlay/renewal/repair. In the case when adequate reflectivity is lost under poor
weather condition, reflectivity should be ensured. Road marking is under progress.

Way side Amenities:
Truck parking/lay bye provided by the Concessionaire at Sadopur Border i.e. Haryana-Punjab
State Boundary is not being kept in a neat, hygienic and tidy condition.
Way side Amenity on left side is still locked and has not been put to use despite the
following correspondence
(Section 3.4.2.16 schedule L of CA).
Metal crash Barrier and Pedestrian Guardrails:
Metal crash barrier requires minimum maintenance except in case of damage due to impact.
The damaged Metal Crash Barriers of the following locations are still not replaced by the
Concessionaire.
