Agro-advisories
 Looking to the wide spread rains forecast farmers are advised to store the water in the rice fields and
complete the transplanting and Biasi operation in the crop at 25-30 days seedling stage as early as
possible.
 Looking into the rainfall forecast drainage may be provided in vegetables, pulses and oilseed crops.
 Looking to rainfall activities Farmers are advised to postpone the application of herbicides and
nitrogen fertilizers till open weather conditions.
 Normally, during early monsoon period, FMD (Foot and mouth disease) is commonly noticed in
cattle. Hence, proper vaccination of the cattle should be done.
