Looking into the rainfall forecast drainage may be provided in vegetables, pulses and oilseed crops. Looking to rainfall activities Farmers are advised to postpone the application of herbicides and nitrogen fertilizers till open weather conditions. Normally, during early monsoon period, FMD (Foot and mouth disease) is commonly noticed in cattle. Hence, proper vaccination of the cattle should be done. During monsoon season normally low light duration due to cloudy weather condition hence farmers are advised increase light duration in poultry farms. Sr. Scientist (Agromet)
