If there is attack of green leaf hopper (mahoo) and observed 8-10 (mahoo) per plant, apply bupronfenjik @ one litter per ha. + 500 litter water. Insecticide must be reach near stem portion of the plant. This insecticide will check the growth of nymph of GLH (mahoo). If adult of stem borer insect has been observed. Collect the cluster of eggs and destroy it. If there is an attack of blast and sheath blight in rice crop apply insecticide Tricyclozole @ 500 ml / ha. + 500 litter water. If there is infestation of bacterial blight drain out the water from the field and also apply potash fertilizer @ 20 kg /hec. After application of potash water should be kept in the field for 3-4 days. Destroy the adult insect by using the light trap in the field. During heavy rains drain out excess water from the field to protect the crop. If crop condition is not good then be ready of sowing Rabi crop. Sugarcane: The infestation of Pyrilla in sugarcane has observed, so drain out water from the field and immediate stop the application of Nitrogenous fertilizer. Use warchard sprayer for effective spray of insecticides in sugarcane to control Pyrilla insect. Vegetables: and other oilseed crops: Vegetable growers are advised to obtained good quality seeds of vegetables and fruits from reliable sources in advance. This is right time for planting onion. So farmers may start planting of onion seedlings. If there is excess water in the field of vegetables/oilseed crop /pluses crop that water must be drain out. In sloppy upland areas, prepared the field for sowing of Toria and Kulthy. Fruit In orchard apply well rotten FYM @ of 10 kg/plant and if fertilizer has not applied then apply NPK@ 100:80:50 kg/hec. This is right time to plant Banana and Papaya seedling. So farmers may go for planting of Banana and Papaya in main field. Animal husbandry: In cattle shed, keep the floor dry and provide clean drinking water to the animals. There is possibility of heat strok in Poultry due to more humidity and temperature in the atmosphere. Therefore Poultry house must be proper ventilated and exhaust fan/fan can be use to decrease humidity in the house. Due to higher humidity litter in poultry house became moist and chances of infestation of disease will increase therefore litter must be turnup frequently or change the litter as per need. In rainy season do not allowed the poultry to move outside otherwise they may get infected by Kolera, pneumonia and Coccidiosis. Sr. Scientist (Agromet)
