Year Four’s trip to Norwich castle We went to Norwich castle on Wednesday 6th of January 2016. On the bus I felt really excited. Our leader was called Jenni. The teachers were We went to a room where we could handle Egyptian objects. Egyptians liked wearing jewellery. We held Egyptian rings, beaded necklaces and earrings. In the Egyptian gallery we saw two mummies and about 60 scarab beetles and 50 eyes of Horus. It had lots of information outside. In the Boudicca and the Romans gallery there was a chariot ride and we could dress up in a toga. We also went to the handling room and handled roman objects. There was one sandle, pieces of broken mosaic, samian pottery and roof tiles. I liked the wax tablet and the stylus they looked really cool to write with. There was a bit about the Iceni. There was a hut made out of mud and straw. We went to look at the world war two gallery it had all sort of thing’s in it like clothes gun’s and pictures and there were things that you look into with white and black pictures in them. Then if you pressed a button, it looked real there in colour. We went to an art gallery with lots and lots of pictures in them. We also went into the natural history gallery, it had a big box with lions in. All of Year four was really tired by the time we got back . We had a good time at the Norwich castle I would like to go and look at the castle again in the future with school.
