Newsletter 19th December 2014
Dear Parents/carers
As this first term of this academic year comes to an end we would like to thank you for all your support.
Your children, their teachers and support staff have been working hard and I am sure you will agree they
deserve to have a wonderful Christmas holiday. We look forward to seeing everyone back in school on
Monday 5th January 2015, refreshed and ready to continue with their learning.
Wishing you a happy and peaceful Christmas
From Mr Clark and all the staff at Dial Park Primary School
Christmas Meal
Yesterday the children & staff enjoyed a traditional Christmas meal provided by our committed
catering team. Claire, Debbie & Renata worked hard to ensure that everything was ready on
time and everyone had enough to eat. The serving area had been decorated and the Team
dressed up in Christmas costumes,
Mr Clark was given the job of serving the chicken and stuffing, whilst the teaching and
support staff served the children at the tables along with the regular Mid-day Assistants,
making the whole experience even more fun for the children.
Dinner Money for the next half term is £64.50 this equals £10.75 x 6 weeks
Nativity Tableaus
Wow, what an achievement! The Nativity Tableaus
looked amazing and told the Nativity story
beautifully. On Monday morning when the children
went around the school we even had a real baby in a
stable in the Reception classroom. We had Mary &
Joseph, an Inn Keeper, 3 Kings, Shepherds, donkey's,
cattle and horses throughout the school it was
beautiful to look at & well worth the wait! Your
children, their teachers and support staff all worked
hard and you should be very proud. Many of you
came along on Monday afternoon to have a look for
yourselves. We hope you enjoyed the experience.
Hey Ewe! Receptions
Christmas Performance
Once again your children, their teachers and
support staff provided you with a wonderful
afternoon’s entertainment. The children played
their part, remembering their lines, where to
stand and where to move to on the stage. For
these young children this was a huge challenge, it
was their first performance in front of their
parents, carers, grandparents. I am sure you will
agree they did a wonderful job & we hope you
enjoyed watching your child.

well done everyone!!!.When a class wins the bear 3 times they get an extra
play. Help your child to win the bear and extra play by being in school “on time,
every time, ten to nine rise and shine”! Remember that all children who get
96% attendance or better will be invited to the Dial Park Attendance Award
Ceremony at the end of the year. Be on time every time to avoid
disappointment! Aim for 100% attendance!
