YOUR NEWSLETTER St John Fisher Catholic Primary School Friday, 28th November, 2014 Live in Faith, learn in love together Dear Parents, School Prayer Book - November We offer our prayers and thoughts this month to: Mrs Grogan recovering from her operation and Mrs Collette Leake who continues to undergo treatment and all the special people on our Remembrance Wall. Remember these special people in your prayers during November. The Month of Remembrance - reminder As mentioned over the past month, the photographs will be added to the display and returned at the end of the month, so please write your child’s name on the back of anything that you send in. The names will also be transferred into our School Prayer Book displayed in the entrance foyer. As always, if you would like to come and view the display please come through to the main office. I am sure it will prove to be a spiritually moving display of everyone we have lost but remains so special to us. ‘Don’t be sad about people who die… they will all live again with God’ (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)) We need you! We are desperate now for someone to be available to make toast each Thursday morning. If you are available PLEASE let the office know. Attendance & Punctuality We are proud of our attendance and see great value in children attending school on a regular basis. Attendance this week was won by Year 5 who had 98.2% and Years 5 and Year 6 has won the award for punctuality with only 2 lates each throughout the whole week. Each week any class who have achieved 100% attendance are rewarded with a nonuniform day the following Friday. HAVE YOU MOVED OVER TO OUR NEW SCHOOL WEBSITE?: www.stjohnfisherprimary.co.uk Headteacher: Mrs J. M. Farrimond Fire Drill The whole school took part in a fire drill on Monday morning.
