1. Create a new document with w=1200 pixels and h=1500 pixels 2. Select the top color picker and change # = cda040 3. Select the paint bucket and flood fill the background 4. Click the new layer icon at the bottom of the layers palette 5. Set the top color picker = black set the bottom color picker = white 6. On the menu bar go to Filter>Render>Clouds. 7. In the Layers palette. Set the blending mode of this layer as ‘Overlay’ and reduce opacity to 35%. 8. Create a new layer, then go to Filter>Render>Clouds again. 9. On the menu bar go to Filter> Artistic> Dry brush and use: Brush size = 6 Brush detail =6 Texture = 1 Click ok 10. On the layers palette change the blending mode of this layer to ‘Overlay’ and reduce its opacity to 10%. 11. On the layers palette change the blending mode to ‘Color Burn’. 12. Create a new layer; click the top color picker to # = cdc3b2 13. Use the any paint brush tool to create tears or rips on the page, use a very small brush size <10 pixels 14. On the tool bar select the smudge tool and rub over the tears you made so the edges are smoother 15. Create a new layer, 16. click the top color picker and select white 17. click the Paint bucket and flood fill the screen 18. On the menu bar go to Filter> Noise> Add noise Amount = 100%, Distribution = Gaussian, click OK 19. On the layers palette change the blending mode to ‘Multiply’ and reduce opacity to 10%. 20. On the menu bar select layers>merge visible. 21. Change the top color picker to a dark brown. Choose the paint brush tool and then on the menu bar click the down arrow and select default brushes>soft round 100 pixels; blending menu = color burn 22. Rub irregularly around the outside edge of the screen 23. Select the eraser tool & erase irregularly around the outside edge 24. On the tool bar select the T tool 25. on the menu bar select an old fashioned font like: Blackadder ITC, Gothic, Lucida Calligraphy 26. type your first and last name in on the screen 27. save for web
