A. Open Photoshop Elements
B. click File>new
a. size w =300 pixels by h= 100 pixels
b. Resolution =72
c. Mode= grayscale
d. Contents =white
C. Hit your D letter key to reverse the colors on the color picker
D. With the paint can flood fill the background black
E. Hit your X letter key to reverse the colors on the
color picker
F. with the T tool type in some text like your name
G. use the move tool to center your text and adjust its
size
H. click the move tool again
I. Hit Ctrl-E to merge the two layers
J. Click image>rotate canvas>90% left
K. Click on filter>stylize>wind
a. method = wind; direction = from the left
L. Click OK
M.Ctrl-F to repeat the filter once more
N. Click filter>blur>Gaussian blur>radius 2.0
O. Click filter>distort>ripple; size = medium
P. Click image>mode>indexed color
Q. Click image>mode>color table
R. Click the down arrow for Table=Spectrum
S. Click file>save for web>put it in your H drive
