People credited with this unit standard are able to under supervision interpret the instructions received from the supervisor, and plan the job in the motor or related industries. It is assumed the policy also meets product manufacturers' specifications, recommendations, and standards. Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Interpret instructions from supervisor. Evidence requirements 1.1 Importance of planning a job is identified. Range 1.2 sequence, completing job in allotted time, safety. Evidence requirements 2.1 Range of job is identified according to company policy. 2.2 Procedures for carrying out the job are identified according to company policy. 2.3 Parts and tools are selected to enable the job to be carried out according to company policy and manufacturers’ specifications. 2.4 Job is planned so that it is carried out safely within the time specified and to the manufacturer’s specifications and company policy.
