Those credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate knowledge of trim accessories, and fit accessories. Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Demonstrate knowledge of trim accessories. Evidence requirements 1.1 Trim accessories are identified according to manufacturer's specifications. Range 1.2 roof racks, louvres, mouldings, seat covers. Function of accessories is identified according to accessory and vehicle manufacturers' specifications. Evidence requirements 2.1 Customer requirements are identified and verified according to company policy. 2.2 Tools and equipment that enable the accessory to be fitted are identified, and are used according to tool and equipment manufacturers' specifications. 2.3 Fitting instructions are identified and carried out, and the accessory is fitted and secured according to accessory and vehicle manufacturers' specifications, and there is no damage to adjacent parts and fittings. 2.4 Tools and equipment are clean and put away in their place according to company policy. 2.5 Safe working practices are carried out throughout the task.
