sanctuary during the month of November.

THE EDGE NEWS
There is a change of plans for Nov. 26th: The EDGE
members who sign up will be going to Country
Heritage Park in Milton for an outdoor Christmas
Nativity Pageant. Permission forms are in the office.
The EDGE is designed to meet the catechetical,
educational, spiritual, emotional and social needs of
young adolescents in grades 6, 7 and 8. Please see
their board in the lobby for more information.
November 20th – No Life Night on Sat., Nov. 20th.
We will meet again on Saturday, November 27th.

The senior years of high school are a critical time
in every young man’s life. In pursuing your
studies and giving thought to possible careers,
you are also laying the foundation for adult life and
its responsibilities.

There will be a very important Altar server training
session on Monday November 22nd @ 6:30 P.M.
in the church. This is open to any child that has
made their First Communion and wishing to serve
the Lord. This will be the only training until the

JUNIOR LITURGY
We are currently enrolling children aged 3 to 5 at
the 10 a.m. Mass. The children will experience
God’s word through Biblical stories, teaching and
crafts. Drop off your children before the 10 am
Mass in the Pocock room, which is in the
basement.

Once again, candy is being collected on behalf of
Dr. Simone. Donations can be left in the lobby in
the bin provided or left in the parish office.

Award. Students aged 14-18 are invited to write a
five hundred-word essay on the theme for the
Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, celebrated
January 23-30, 2011. The theme for this coming
year is “One in the Apostles’ Teaching,
Fellowship, Breaking of Bread and Prayer.” (cf.
Acts 2:42). First prize is an iPod touch (32GB
memory), second prize is an iPod nano (16GB
memory) and third to sixth prizes are a one-year
subscription to The Catholic Register and other
prizes. Essays will be published in the Catholic
